Overview:
Using
topics relating to green issues groups will gain a better understanding
of how we can all help the environment. The ultimate challenge is to
create a giant work of art that depicts the environment and how we can
help to sustain it. Teams will need to complete Eco Challenges to
collect recycled materials to create it.
How it works:
Art tutors will
demonstrate and explain the various techniques to create a sculpture.
Next participants will decide which medium and style they want to use
and begin their own project. Projects can take from 1 hour to 3 hours.
The
teams must design and build a 3D work of art using the recycled
materials available. Teams need to earn Carbon Credits by completing
various Eco Challenges.
ECO Challenges:
As part of the overall
challenge teams will need to complete a series of mini Eco challenges.
These tasks include a carbon footprint calculator; recycle sign
challenge and an eco quiz.
The Result:
At the end of the session
the individual works, will be joined together to create one final
installation. Teams must present their work to the rest of the group.
